Dr. Goodman received her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Kansas, as well as her Masters of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. Dr. Goodman's research focused on sex and sexuality, and she brings this expertise to her clinical work, as well.  Dr. Goodman completed extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and received broad training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychodynamic approaches.  She completed her APA-approved internship at the Northport Veteran's Administration Hospital and her postdoctoral fellowship at the Boston VA, specializing in working with recently returned veterans with histories of trauma and substance abuse. Dr. Goodman has also worked extensively with college populations, and enjoys the passion and energy of emerging adults.  Dr. Goodman specializes in serving members of the queer, poly, and kink communities. In her free time, she enjoys reading a good book and exploring the adventures that Boston has to offer.
